Thermo-Pond 3.0 is the third generation of the most efficient and advanced pond heater on the market.
In warmer climates, keeps a (minimum) 3" hole on the pond surface to allow for toxic gas to escape throughout the winter. Will not harm rubber-lined or plastic ponds. State-of-the-art thermostat with larger heat radius. Increased cord strain relief and oversized drip edge to prevent water contact with seal for a leak-proof entry port.
Recommended for ponds in USDA Zones 7, and south. For ponds in colder climates, we recommend the Farm Innovator 1250-watt Floating Pond De-Icer.
